Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026 · Private Alpha

These terms cover your use of Memora while it is in private alpha. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Memora yet.

1. What this alpha is

Memora is an early, invite-based preview. Features are incomplete, may change without notice, and the service may have bugs, downtime, or data-model changes during this stage. It is provided to you free of charge and "as is," without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

2. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
  • You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • Password resets during the alpha are handled manually — contact us at the address below if you're locked out.

3. Your content and your source connections

You own your photos, videos, and everything Memora derives from them. Connecting a source (like Google Drive) grants Memora read-only access to index it — Memora never modifies, deletes, or moves your original files. You can disconnect a source or delete your account at any time; see our Privacy Policy for exactly what that removes.

By using Memora you grant us the limited right to process your connected content (read it, derive metadata, generate thumbnail previews and template-based stories from it) solely to provide the service back to you. We don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't share it with advertisers.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Memora to:

  • Upload or connect content you don't have the right to access
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data
  • Interfere with or overload the service (including automated scraping or abuse of the API)
  • Use the service for anything unlawful

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Third-party services

Google Drive integration is subject to Google's own terms and your Google Account permissions. Memora isn't responsible for Google's availability, changes to its API, or the OAuth "unverified app" state during our alpha period.

6. Changes during the alpha

Because this is an active alpha, we may add, remove, or change features, and may need to reset or migrate data as the schema evolves. We'll try to give notice for anything that affects your existing data, but cannot guarantee it during this stage.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Memora and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this alpha, including loss of data derived by Memora (not your original files, which remain in your own storage). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using Memora and delete your account at any time from Privacy Settings. We may also end the alpha or your access to it at our discretion, with notice where practical.
